“The 1st International Live painting Day & The 5th Youth World Cup Live Painting Competition is a global charity event that hosted by Canada Youth Arts Development Foundation and supported by UNICEF.  It is a global painting Olympic of world’s children and youth, and also a global charity event aimed to help poor children worldwide.

Children are our future, and they need attention from us all to grow healthily. The poor children worldwide need not only attention from governments, charity groups, but also attention from each one of us.

We don’t have ready formula, but we believe in action. Kindly initiated by Canada Youth Arts Development Foundation, warmly endorsed by UNICEF, the Youth World Cup Live Painting Competition & One Dollar for One Poor Child Charity Event aim to change things for better. The “competition” will be a “platform” to raise awareness for the welfare of poor children and the “$1 charity event” will bring chances of life and education to poor children.

Four times Youth World Cup Live Painting Competition have been successfully held in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. Over 10, 0000 Competitors from 50 countries entered into last four Competitions. We raised funds enough for 200 “Schools in Boxes”, UNICEF program. About 12000 children in poverty have now received support for their education opportunities.

The 5th Youth World Cup Live Painting Competition will be held on Aug 6th, 2017. It would be the 1st International Live painting Day also. More activities will be held on that day ,We hope that this annual competition and charity event will grow into an annual celebration of painting, the “Olympic” of cultural and artistic exchange.

Activities of the 1st International Live painting Day

  1. 300 youth draw on 150 meters long scroll together to challenge the Canada Guinness Records—–most number of youth paintingsin one scrollat the same time.

As 2007 is the 150th anniversary of Canada, we will set up a 150 meters long scroll and call on 300 youth to draw “My Canada” together to celebrate.

Details of Requirements for Entries:

Theme:　Advised to choose themes of “My Canada”

Tools and Genre: Pen, pencil, oil, propylene, water-color, any painting tools and materials are welcome. genres are not limited: realistic, abstract, manga, are all fine.

Size: 50cm* 90cm for each paticpatior

  1. The 5th Youth World Cup Live Painting Competition

Contestants will be grouped according to age: Preschool Group (Age 4-6); Children Group (Age 7-12); Juvenile Group (Age 13-17); Youth Group (Age 18-25).  The theme is “Love, Dream, Environment Protection”. Winners of Preliminary Contest will automatically obtain the right to compete in the Final Contest, which will be held at Richmond Olympic Oval, Richmond, BC, Canada.

In order to encourage more participants and help them to establish confidence, about 30% of the participants will be given awards. Each participant will be given a certificate from UNICEF and the Organizing Committee recognizing his or her contribution to the cause of helping children in poverty worldwide. The jury will hold to the principal of transparency and fairness, judging each entry with strictness and proficiency. For more info, please visit our official website: www.paintingworldcup.org

3. One Dollar for One Poor Child Charity Event

This event goes hand in hand with the competition, and advocates donating for poor children worldwide. All donations will go to the UNICEF, subsiding the project of “School-in-box”, which aims to help those children with no chance to go to school due to war or poverty. The Organizing Committee encourages all contestants donate one dollar for the world’s children in poverty via UNICEF CANADA.
